¼ cup chocolate chips

  • Press together into a dough
  • Tip in the chocolate chips and stir to combine
  • Pour some sugar (a few tbsp – and add a tsp of ginger and cinnamon if you like)onto the board, then take tsps of the mixture and roll them in the sugar into balls
  • Place these balls on a baking tray with plenty of space between them, then bake for 5-10 minutes depending on the thickness

If you can make that you can make this

  • add a tablespoon of chopped stem ginger for a more gingery cookie
  • replace half the sugar with dark sugar to go more in a gingerbread direction
