Vanilla sugar is an assembly job. Fill a jar with sugar and poke a vanilla pod into it. In a couple of days you’ll have vanilla sugar.
I have a jar that I keep refilling with sugar and dropping in used vanilla pods and its been producing vanilla sugar for me for 7 years. My grandma has one that’s older – I’m not even going speculate.
My grandma had a decades old jar as well. I keep meaning to do this. You’ve inspired me!
